This tutorial will teach you how to unfreeze an iPod in the event that the iPod will no longer respond regardless of what buttons you are pushing.

Unfreezing an iPod involves pressing certain buttons simultaneously. The buttons that you press depend on which kind of iPod you have. When holding down the buttons, keep them pressed until the Apple logo appears on the screen, indicating that the iPod is in the process of rebooting. Once the Apple logo has appeared and then gone away, the iPod should be back to normal. Note: Be sure that your iPod is UNlocked (be sure the hold switch is in the off position) before attempting to unfreeze it.
