This tutorial will teach you how to take a screenshot (a picture of what is currently on your screen) in Windows 7.
Hit the PrintScreen key.

Or, if you'd like to take a picture of just a specific window rather than everything currently on your monitor, you can hold the Alt key (between the Windows key and the space bar) while pressing the PrintScreen button.
Now the image is on your clipboard, open up Paint so you can paste the image.

Now that Paint is open, hold the Ctrl key and press V. This will paste the image on your clipboard into Paint. The Ctrl key is the key furthest to the left at the bottom of the keyboard. Now, you can save this image by hitting the save button at the top.

Choose a save location (such as the Desktop) and pick a format to save your picture in. I recommend .jpg as it is widely accepted and popular.

The screenshot should now be located where ever you chose to save it.
